Catch Me If You Can (Review)

What could we expect from a Spielberg film starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo Di Caprio, a masterpiece!
Catch me if you can is not only a movie with a top-notch cast but also a masterpiece if we talk about the plot! In fact, it is about the true story of con man Frank Abagnale Jr. who managed to print fake checks and degrees during his criminal career allowing him to get a lot of money and also... women, lots of women!
About the scenes we cannot say anything, shot in an epic way and especially very peculiar shots. Then, impossible to talk about Catch Me If You Can without mentioning the soundtrack in which there are songs by various artists including Frank Sinatra! The film cost a total of $52 million. It took 56 days in early 2002, at more than 140 locations in the United States and Canada! One of the locations was the famous Terminal 5 at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport.  The real Frank Abagnale Jr. appears briefly as a French policeman. Spielberg's son also appears: he is the boy who sleeps on the plane behind DiCaprio when he is brought back to the U.S. from France. the film grossed $ 164615351 in North America and 187498961 $ in the rest of the world, for a global take of 352114312 $. the film won numerous awards:

Art Directors Guild - Award for Excellence in Design (initial titles);
BMI Film & TV Awards - Award for Best Film Music (John Williams);
British Animation Awards - Best Graphics (opening titles);
National Society of Film Critics Awards - Best Supporting Actor (Christopher Walken);

So. What else to say! If you are looking for a movie to laugh but also reflect on the obsession with money and love (to say the least), you have the right movie!
