the dark side of the critique

There are some things, which you have to accept growing up...you have to accept the fact that not everyone will like you...you have to accept the fact that you will be criticized and humiliated...you have to accept the fact that not everyone is ready to accept your passions and personality. But after all--no matter what you are--whether you are humble, assiduous readers and born thinkers, it doesn't matter! People will hate you for it but--in the end, it doesn't matter! Being ourselves is a right that has been forbidden to us because of some common idea dictated by modern civilization...but wrong! Screw it, be yourselves, painters, writers, madmen, singers, shout it to the world! Dear readers if there is one correct thing I have learned in the course of my life is that there are people who will never understand you, and those same people, have never wondered where they come from and what they are doing on earth. I know I am always telling you this but just be yourselves, no matter what!
